My love for the outdoors began at a very young age as I grew up on my families cranberry marsh in Pittsville, WI. Growing up in such an environment, I gained a great appreciation for the outdoors and also learned numerous life lessons. I enjoy hunting and fishing and learned these skills from my father, Pete Normington. I am sure he would agree that the student is now more skilled than the teacher.

I graduated in 2002 from Pittsville High School. From there I attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and Graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science. I am currently employed at Marshfield Clinic.

My goal to help United Special Sportsman Alliance is to establish an endowment fund, which will ensure the long term survival of USSA. It is my duty to make certain children for generations to come can enjoy the outdoors the same way I was able to.

As for my personal life, I am engage to Mandy who recieved her teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin. I am also a volunteer with Portage County Big Brothers Big Sisters. Each week I spend a few hours with my little, Michael and do various outdoor and sports related activities.

My experiences gained from working with USSA and Big Brothers have been amazing.
