 My husband and I are self-employed and own The Cabinet Shop in Marshfield, WI. I have been married to my husband John for 30 years and have 5 children; 2 of which have disabilities. Sara is 22 years old and has Downs Syndrome and Timmy 19 a senior in High school is learning disabled. We also have 3 grandchildren; and one more on the way. Our grandchildren have been a blessing to our family and I try to spend as much time as I can with them.
We were introduced to USSA about 4 years ago and it has done wonderful things for our kids. Sarah and Timmy have gone on a turkey, deer, and bear hunt which has really done allot for their confidence and social skills. They never stop talking about the fun they have and when they might be able to attend another event.
I have been involved with USSA as a volunteer for 4 years and truly enjoy it. My husband and I help out each year at the July event and it is wonderful meeting other families with special kids.
USSA has opened many doors for Sara and Timmy with the outdoor events they offer. USSA is a wonderful charity and I'm thankful we got involved and glad to be part of their huge family!
