 My name is John Haydock although most know me as “Big John” or Johnny. My wife Carol and I live in Junction City, Wisconsin. I am a Personal Care Worker Supervisor for Midstate Independent Living Consultants.
My first experience with USSA was on a bear hunt in northern Wisconsin in 2005. Our USSA hunter was a 15 year old young lady from Kansas named Susan who killed her bear and capture my heart in the process. I knew this was an organization I had to get involved in.
I am the Hunt Coordinator for the Junction City, WI Turkey Hunt which started small in 2007, but has grown steadily to become a major event while maintaining a 50% success rate for our hunters,
I have also had the privilege of being a mentor/guide on several other USSA hunts, as well as helping out at the USSA summer event; mostly at the Archery and Rifle ranges. I am also a Volunteer Hunter Safety Education Instructor for the state of Wisconsin and Treasurer for the Junction City Lions Club.
